Priyamani, who has been running through bad times in her career, is having high hopes on Kshetram movie in which she played a powerful role. This film is different from Priyamani’s recent releases as she would be seen in a role reminiscent of Arudhati in it.

National award winner Priyamani tried her luck with highly glamorous roles and posed in bikinis too. But she failed to get that big break in Tollywood. She doesn’t have any plum offers in Tamil and Kannada industries too. So, Kshetram would be a do or die film for her.

Jagapathi Babu played a key role in this film which is based on faction in Rayalaseema. Priyamani didn’t do any author backed roles in Telugu so far and Kshetram should show the real talent of her to Telugu audience.

A source in the know informs us, "Priya has been approached to star in director Balki's next. She will be leaving to New York with the unit by the end of this month. There's enough meat to her character, which made Priya jump at the offer."

On her plans to buy a property and shift to Hyderabad, she says, “Of course, I am buying a house since I intend to do more Telugu films. I am just 22-years-old and I don’t want to get married.
