In a press release Director Sateesh said "Kulumanali is a suspense thriller with all commercial elements. This is the first time that a thriller movie in Telugu is going to be made under snow back drop of Kulumanali."

Producer Chandra Shekar told that 'The regular shooting will start from November 13 in Kulumanali and first schedule will be finish off over there. Sceond schedule of the movie will commence in Hyderabad. with that entire shooting of the movie will complete.”

Her Tamil film Velayudham (starring Vijay, Hansika, Saranya Mohan and others) is a Diwali release and she plays a pivotal role as a journalist.

When you chose Velayudham, did you know it was the remake of the Telugu film Azad?
It's not a remake; it is inspired to a certain extent. That's what director Raja told me. I haven't watched Azad. I wanted to, but Raja asked me not to.

He said, it's a totally new film and you shouldn't get influenced. So I went with his brief.

All I knew was, it was going to be a different film. There was a sweetness about the girl but there was a serious side to her character too, and that's something I wanted at some level. I wanted to do a role of that calibre.

With Pokiri and Dookudu there is a special interest over an item song in Mahesh Babu movie. Recently, music director Thaman said that he had composed an energetic item song for The Businessman.

From then on the speculation about who will star in this song is doing rounds and Hansika’s name popped up. But the actress denied any such offer and said she is not doing any item song in The Businessman. “I am doing an "item song" in business man the answer to the question is NO !! Hansika did an item song in Prabhas movie Billa in the past and said that it would be the first and last item song for her. She recently rejected a handsome offer from a big Tamil star.

The Mani Sharma musical is a hot contender. The entire film unit is confident that the film would be liked by all classes of audiences as it has everything to suit the taste from kids to elders.

Rohit is being paired with Nisha Agarwal (Kajal Agarwal's sister).  As per the director, Nara Rohit's performance would be a highlight and Manisharma's music is an asset for the film.

irector Ashok G. has tried to provide balance by focusing on comedy elements in the first half and excessive sentimental sequences in the second half. He is only partly successful in his endeavour.
He has tried to send a good message to the youngsters who abuse their rich background. The breeziness in the first half is totally absent in the second half where the film concentrates more on the melodrama.
The director shows his calibre in crafting the entertainment scenes but he has compromised too much in the second half by including some unnecessary dramatic sequences.
