Shriya Saran has taken action against Malayalam film producer, Tomichan Malakupadam for attempting to release the dubbed version of her film Pokkiri Raja in other languages though her contract had stated that the film should not be shown in this manner. The actress has filed a complaint with Nadigar Sangam and asked for a ban to be imposed on the dubbed versions.

Pokkiri Raja had Malayalam superstars - Mammooty and Prithviraj in the lead. Shriya's last outing in Tamil was Rowthiram with Jiiva. She will be seen next in Deepa Mehta's film adaptation of Salman Rushdie's Booker prize winning novel, Midnight's Children.

Tholeti says that Chakri's 7 songs will turn out to be the biggest hits of 2012.  Kunal Ganjwal, Adnan Sami, Mamata Sharma, KK, Shan and others have rendered the songs.  He has filmed an item song on the lines of his guru Sukumar's style.  He says that they are hoping for a big hit.

Also starring Brahmanandam, Harshavardhan, Nassar, Raghubabu, Ahuthi Prasad, Ali, Bharath, Uttej and others, this film has cinematography by Venkat Prasad.  Editing is by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.  Written by Kona Venkat, it has fights by Ram-Lakshman.  Tholeti has written the story, screenplay and dialogues himself

Naa Istam in Genelia

Rana Daggubati's Naa Istam has been awarded U/A by the Censor Board.  The film is slated to release on March 23.

The film stars Genelia in the role of female lead.  Directed by Prakash Tholeti, the film is produced by Paruchuri Kiriti.  He says, "The story revolves around a youth who always concerns himself with thinking about himself.  His thinking is altered by a girl.  The film is about how he undergoes the transformation because of the girl.  The scenes between Rana and Genelia will attract the youngsters."

Daggubati Rana’s new film 'Naa Istam' has completed its censor scrutiny recently. The film awarded U/A certificate with minor cuts from censor board panel. The film hasRana and Genelia in the lead roles.Paruchuri Kiriti produced the film on United Movies banner. Prakash Toleti is debuting as director with Naa Istam.    

Chakri has scored music for this youthful entertainer with love story backdrop. The songs are instant hits among audience and the first look stills have taken the hype on this movie to next level. The film has a positive report and our sources claim that Rana will get a hit with this movie. This will be his third film after critically acclaimed Leader and Nenu Naa Rakshasi.     

The movie is gearing up for a grand release on March 23 with record number of theaters in Rana’s career.   

Nithya Menon in ishq

Vikram Kumar is wielding the megaphone for that film while Vikram Gaud is producing it below Shresta Productions banner. PC Sreeram is cranking the camera and Anup Rubens is composing the tunes with this urbane romantic love story. Nithya Menon is crooning with regard to Anups’s tunes in Ishq. Ishq is releasing upon February 10.

Nithya Menon will later join the sets of her new film with Nara Rohit within the lead in Srinivas Raaga directorial.
