It was a rather good start to Richa Gangopadhyay's acting career and good year too. The young actress, who had an impressive beginning with good performances in Mayakkan Enna and Osthe and got to act with two leading young stars -- Dhanush and Simbu.
It must be said she was one of the new faces to make an immediate impact. Also, she left a lasting impression on the minds of Kollywood audiences with her two characters Yamini (Mayakkam Enna) and Neduvali (Osthe).
With a fairytale-like debut in the industry, Richa seems to a good future ahead of her in Tamil filmdom. However, she has been quite choosy with her next film.
'After an intense performance in Mayakkam Enna and a commercial one in Osthe, I am waiting for the right project to take up next. I want to give my audience something different,' she was quoted as saying.
