In an age when every one is busy twittering, blogging or posting photos or news about themselves, film actor Nitya Menen comes as a surprise. “I don't belong to any social network and I don't even message much. In fact, most of the time I don't even use my mobile phone. I don't like the idea of being connected to the world all the time. One should have space and time for oneself,” she says with a smile and a toss of her curls.
Nithya insists that she prefers the real world to the virtual. So, although she has been labelled by some as “unfriendly” and “standoffish,” she is not too upset about those labels or her disinterest in hectic cyberspace!
